Khinkali are Georgian dumplings of thick dough with a little tail: inside — juicy filling and hot broth. They're steamed and eaten by hand: grab the tail, flip it over, bite the edge and drink the broth first. The tail stays on the plate — it's just the handle.
Our list has two kinds: the classic pork & beef, and the sea one — shrimp and salmon. From the kitchen come three sauces — white, red and black — and the bar covers the rest of the evening, from house lemonade to a cocktail off the film wall.
Khinkali are part of our Caucasian menu, next to shashlik, ajapsandali and soups that heal. Half-light, vinyl and a table that never rushes you — a Georgian dinner in a cinema setting, at Dunavska 2. For weekend evenings we recommend booking.
